Madinia: Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences is a peer-reviewed and open-access scholarly journal published by the Yayasan Pendidikan dan Sosial Madania. The journal is devoted to publishing high-quality research and critical studies in the areas of humanities, social sciences, and Islamic studies, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches and both global and local insights.

Madinia: Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences provides a platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners to engage in dialogue and share findings that advance knowledge across diverse topics such as culture, religion, education, law, language, economics, communication, and society. The journal also encourages contributions that explore the intersection of classical thought and contemporary issues, especially from perspectives rooted in Islamic scholarship and values.

Madinia: Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences publishes original research articles, comprehensive reviews, and critical essays that contribute to theoretical innovation, methodological rigor, and empirical insight across the humanities, social sciences, and related educational fields.

MJHSS welcomes submissions in, but not limited to, the following subject areas:

  2. Philosophy, Theology, and Religious Studies: Ethics, aesthetics, philosophy of religion, comparative theology, Islamic philosophy, and Islamic thought.
  3. Islamic Studies: Qur’anic and Hadith studies, Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), maqāṣid al-sharīʿah, Sufism, Islamic education, and Islamic civilization.
