Madinia: Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and strictly adheres to the ethical principles and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher, are required to maintain ethical behavior and professional responsibility to ensure the integrity, transparency, and quality of scholarly publications.
- Duties of Authors
Authors are required to ensure that all submitted manuscripts are original, free from plagiarism, and have not been previously published or simultaneously submitted to other journals.
Authors must properly acknowledge the work of others. All data, ideas, methods, and sources referenced in the manuscript must be accurately cited in accordance with academic standards.
Authors are responsible for presenting research findings truthfully and objectively. Any form of data fabrication, falsification, or manipulation is strictly prohibited.
All individuals listed as authors must have made significant contributions to the research and must approve the final version of the manuscript prior to submission and publication.
Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and clearly acknowledge all sources of financial, institutional, or research support.
If significant errors or inaccuracies are identified in published articles, authors are obliged to promptly inform the editorial office and cooperate in the correction or retraction process.

Editors are responsible for determining which submitted manuscripts are suitable for publication based on academic merit, originality, relevance to the journal’s scope, and scholarly quality.
Editors must ensure a fair, objective, and confidential peer review process and must avoid any conflict of interest in editorial decision-making.
Manuscripts must be evaluated solely on academic content without discrimination based on race, gender, nationality, religious belief, political orientation, or institutional affiliation.
Editors must take appropriate and timely action in response to ethical concerns, including allegations of plagiarism, data manipulation, or research misconduct.

Reviewers play a vital role in assisting editors with editorial decisions and supporting authors in improving the quality of their manuscripts through constructive and professional feedback.
All manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents and must not be shared or used for personal or professional advantage.
Reviews should be conducted objectively, clearly, and supported by academic arguments and evidence.
Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and decline review invitations if such conflicts may affect their objectivity.
